CLAMPING BISCUIT CONNECTORS MAKE KNOCKDOWN CONSTRUCTION VIRTUALLY SEAMLESS
KINGSTON, MA New Clamex® (KD) Clamping Biscuit Connector from Lamello allows users to create nearly invisible (RTA) knockdown connections. Made from rugged fiberglass reinforced plastic, Clamex (KD) Biscuits can join any miter angle fast and easy. With only one cut, the Lamello Classic C3 with special cutter will produce the perfect groove for the new Clamex (KD) Clamping Biscuit, which both connects and levels out---no clamping required. Clamex (KD) Clamping Biscuits also work with any biscuit joiner by making two separate plunges/cuts to form an 8 mm slot. There is no danger of torsional movement, even if only one clamping biscuit is used. Clamex (KD) Clamping Biscuit is a versatile joining element that can be used for aesthetic solutions for demountable furniture, cabinets, miter joints from 60 180 degrees, frame constructions, joints to walls or already installed objects, double floors or back walls, surface, corner and middle wall joints in all wood and wood composites, and room-dividers. Components made with the Clamex system are stackable because there are no protruding parts in the surface. Clamex (KD) Clamping Biscuits are distributed exclusively in the U.S. by Colonial Saw Company. They are available in 18-pair blister packs and bulk packaging.
